How to play

1. Shade cells so every outlined region holds exactly TWO connected blocks of equal size.
2. A number inside a region gives the size of both of that region’s blocks.
3. All shaded cells must form one connected group across the whole grid.
4. No 2×2 area may be fully shaded (it turns red). Click to shade, right-click to erase; auto-check runs as you go.

What is Nuritwin?

Nuritwin is a Nikoli logic puzzle. The grid is divided into outlined regions. You must shade cells so each region contains exactly two equal-size connected blocks. All shaded cells form one connected group and no 2x2 block of shaded cells is allowed.

How do Nuritwin rules work?

1) Each outlined region must contain exactly TWO shaded blocks of EQUAL size. 2) Blocks are orthogonally-connected shaded cells. 3) All shaded cells form one connected group across regions. 4) The two blocks in a region must not touch orthogonally. 5) No 2x2 block of shaded cells.

How is Nuritwin different from Nurikabe?

Nurikabe has numbered white islands in a connected black sea. Nuritwin has no islands. Instead each outlined region contains exactly two equal-size twin black blocks that together form one connected shaded network.
