How to play

1. The grid is divided into rooms enclosed by bold lines. Each room must be painted entirely one color.
2. Click a room to cycle through black, white, and empty states. Plan which rooms are walls and which are paths.
3. Circle cells must be on the shortest path from S to G. Triangle cells must NOT be on the shortest path.
4. No 2x2 area can be all the same color. Use this constraint to narrow down possibilities.
5. Press Check to verify your maze. White cells must connect S to G with a shortest path through all circles and avoiding all triangles.

Nurimeizu is a Nikoli-style maze painting puzzle. The grid is divided into rooms. You paint entire rooms black or white to create a maze with a path from Start (S) to Goal (G).

How do you play Nurimeizu?

Click a room to paint it black, click again to paint it white, click again to erase. Circle markers must be on the shortest S-to-G path. Triangle markers must be off the shortest path. No 2x2 blocks of the same color allowed.
