- Akichiwake is a logic puzzle where you divide a grid into two connected regions by shading cells. Each numbered cell shows how many of its 4 orthogonal neighbors share the same color (shaded or unshaded) as the cell itself.
- How do you solve Akichiwake puzzles?
- Start with cells whose clues fully constrain them. A clue of 4 means all neighbors match; a clue of 0 means none match. Use connectivity requirements to extend regions. Both shaded and unshaded regions must be connected.
